Candidate Bio

Dr. Katelyn King is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on combining historical and contemporary data to investigate the effects of habitat and climate change on fish species across Michigan inland lakes and the Great Lakes. She received her PhD in 2021 from Michigan State University in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife. Dr. King has served as a McNALMS board member (Director at Large) for 2 years, serves as Chair of the Social Media Committee, and is a member of the Student Grants committee.
