McNALMS renames Lifetime Achievement Award

The McNALMS Lifetime Achievement Award has been renamed the McNALMS Niles R. Kevern Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of the memory of Dr. Niles Kevern. Dr. Kevern, who previously received this award, was a scholar in fisheries and limnology and an advocate for clean and healthy lakes. The award is presented periodically to an individual who has significantly contributed to the advancement of the understanding of lakes, has provided leadership in addressing key lake issues, and has exhibited excellence in promoting lake ecology and/or management. Past winners and current recipient include:
